Product Description:

Field-Grade Shelter for Rugged Living.

The Highland Hearth™ Canvas Basecamp Shelter from Rugged River Supply LLC is built for extended stays, remote retreats, and off-grid living. Whether you're setting up a backwoods basecamp, a long-term bug-out site, or a semi-permanent homestead station, this heavy-duty shelter provides the protection, space, and flexibility you need to thrive.

Crafted from tough TC cotton canvas with a 20,000mm PVC floor, reinforced stitching, and an integrated stove jack, this shelter is made for real-world survival — not weekend glamping. Its squared footprint and tall center height provide ample room for beds, stoves, gear stations, and workspaces.

Key Features:

Durable TC Canvas Shell:

Breathable and rugged, the poly-cotton canvas balances airflow and strength for all-season use.

Integrated Stove Jack:

Allows for safe venting of a wood-burning stove in cold weather environments.

Weather-Ready Construction:

Coated for water resistance with a built-in 20,000mm PVC floor

9 included guy lines + stakes keep it anchored in high wind

Roomy Layout:

9.8 ft × 9.8 ft footprint with 6.5 ft center height

Fits queen mattress, cot systems, or workbenches with ease

Ventilation & Airflow:

5 mesh windows/doors provide insect-free airflow in warm seasons

Effortless Setup & Breakdown:

Packs down into a single carry bag — 39.7 lbs total weight

Safety & Longevity Notes:

Fire Retardant Caution: This TC canvas is not pre-treated for fire resistance. When using a stove, always add a spark arrestor and consider treating the canvas with a fire-retardant spray.

Waterproofing Maintenance: Like all canvas shelters, long-term exposure to sun and rain may degrade waterproofing. We recommend reapplying a waterproofing treatment every 6–12 months depending on climate.

The Highland Hearth™ is more than a tent — it’s your shelter in the storm, your outpost in the wild, your retreat from the modern world.

Gear Up. Head Out. Stay Ready.
